Skin cells, the body’s largest organ, are made up of 64% water. Without water, your organs will not function at their best.   If your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky. Dry skin is less resilient and is more prone to wrinkling.  The unfortunate truth about drinking water and skin is that water will reach all the other organs before it reaches the skin. So, it's important to apply water to our skin and keep it there - this will not only show a visible difference in hydration, but it can prevent wrinkles, as well.

So what is the best way to add water to the skin?

  • Apply a hydrating moisturizer within minutes of leaving the bath or shower. Your skin will still be porous and products that are applied following the bath or shower will be more effective, allowing better absorption.  Our Magnifique Moisturizer contains a unique blend of Peptides and is rated SPF rated for effort free sun protection!
  • Apply a product containing hyaluronic acid prior to your moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid holds 1,000 times its own weight in water, thus attracting water to the skin and holding it there.  You’ll find our Transcendence Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Serumworks continuously for 96 hours to leave your skin feeling fresh, with a youthful, radiant glow.  And it smells simply fantastic!
  • Or Treat yourself like royalty with our One Love Golden Collagen masks.  Our popular Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid based mask is widely used in Asian skincare for it's anti-inflammatory properties.  One treatment will help you reduce the appearance of existing signs of aging and prevent future damage. A luxurious way to restore your youthful, radiant complexion.
  • And of course drink more water!  Doctors recommend consuming at least 11.5 cups of water daily for optimal health.

I recommend trying any or all of our amazingly products in our specially curated hydration collection!  You’ll find it here…and you’ll love what they’ll do for your skin.
